How to create a Cartoon Character in Adobe illustrator in Just a 10 minute?

Adobe illustrator is a great application to create characters such of vector graphics. 

These Vector images and graphics are made of shapes, points, and curves and these are based on calculative formulae.

Many of us may want to learn or learn on  how to create or draw a Cartoon Characters. So today I will give out the major points and guidance towards a best way to come up with a Vector images right from a starter.

How to start with Adobe illustrator

1. Open illustrator.
2. Click on "Create New" or on file option, chose New.
3. Pick any size depending on your choice and press Ok. For example I used 1920 by 1080px in this case. 
4. When done, art board will be displayed 
5. Now import the piece of work you want to work on to an art board. Remember the file must be for educational purpose and not commercial. This will help you avoid copy right issues in case you are working upon to use on your online business.

Lets Now start the process

First of all we need to create a better brush to use in our project. This is because the available brush may not work exactly like a normal brush.. So these are what we need to do to come up with it.

Right click on the rectangle tool and choose Ellipse tool. We choose Ellipse tool because its Oval shaped and if we try to compress or make it smaller we shall get a real brush in our art board.

Apply color on it as black and stroke color black as well.

Now  zoom it and reduce on the size of the shape(our color brush)

After all these are done, migrate the brush color shape to the brush.

How to migrate your Brush

Tap on Windows and click on brushes

Now click on your shape(made brush) and drug to the bottom of brushes. Now brush will ask for a new brush types; choose 

Art Brush and click OK

Now leave everything as it is and only give the name of your brush.

Now on colorization method, select Tints and save.

Our brushing color is now done if you follow all the steps mentioned. Now you can start the project(image) either by centering to a desired position or to any position you desired.

Now if we start creating the character we need to first create a new layer of our project. getting layer can be done by clicking on Windows where you will find the layer option.

Now on getting it, click on new layer to create and after you ought to lock the first layer for the image you are using for the project.

How to lock the layer.

Double click on the  layer

click on template

On DIM images to: Reduce Opacity from the default (50%) to either 70% so that you can get the clear view for stressing

Now click on Ok. The layer  will be locked automatically .

Boom! now click on the first top layer and start stressing the work
